Brunch Food

Here are some recent food finds for all to enjoy.  As I was looking for recipes lately, my goal was to find new recipes for fabulous food that was fast to fix.  I think I did it!

First, these chicken sausage pattiesare a must make.  Please believe me when I say that they are easy-they are unbelievably easy.  I am able to go down to my wonderful local butcher and have them grind the chicken, so that is a key part to making this easy.  I hate grinding meat!  Go, make these sausages and enjoy a flavorful, non-greasy breakfast patty.

These cupcakesare another new fav-

You can also find Foster Farms ground chicken at Safeway and Rayley’s…if you don’t have a butcher close by. I definitely concur with Leah: these were extremely delicious!

Yes. The sausages (and the other things) are all very tasty. I will be making the sausages soon! Leah, do you think they would freeze just fine?

Oh! Those cupcakes have been on my “to-bake” list since I got my most recent B.A. issue. They look delicious! But…how did you find the cake recipe itself? It looked a little complicated to me, I was thinking of using my stand-by yellow cake recipe instead…

I’ll answer, since that was my “contribution”! They were super easy. I was a little wary, and somewhat intimidated, but they were really easy. I didn’t have any self-rising flour, which it called for, so I made my own-1 cup flour, 1t salt & 1 1/2t baking powder.
